Ion exchange unit in container

A pressure filter from SILHORKO-EUROWATER is very versatile and can be used for many different applications, depending on the type of filling inside.

With gravel and sand, or Nevtraco, the filter can remove iron and manganese. With activated carbon: chlorine. And if you need to reduce hardness or other types of salts, ion exchange resin does the trick.

In this case, the goal was to remove heavy metals from effluent water. Therefore, a selective ion exchange resin was suited. The water is polluted with heavy metals from a large train tunnel cleaning project and it was crucial to prevent the polluted water from ending up in a nearby stream.

The solution consists of two independent production lines, each with three treatment steps, including mechanical filtration and a final selective ion exchange step. The solution is mobile and consist of seven containers
