Demineralized cooling water for pit furnace

EUROWATER has designed and delivered a complete water treatment solution for production of demineralized cooling water. The water is used for evaporative cooling of pit furnace walls used in copper recycle process as well as flue gas cooling in heat exchanger. A great focus on design and selection of the water treatment plant was taken in mind to perform its high reliability and fully automatic operation. Raw water is municipal drinking water distributed by local supplier. Technology is designed to be easily modified and extended with polishing units to produce demineralized make-up water for high pressure steam boiler supporting safe operation of a future steam turbine.
