Water quality

A distinction is made between five different water qualities. The water quality can be determined based on a number of characteristics. The most important characteristics are:

  • Ingredients
The amount of natural salts, organic substances, particles, and gasses in the water.
  • Conductivity
The ability of the water to conduct an electrical current. Normal drinking water typically has a conductivity around 500 µS/cm, but it varies significantly. RO permeate typically has a conductivity below 20 µS/cm.
  • Application
The requirements for the water quality depending on application such as rinse water, cooling water, ingredient water etc.

Water treatment systems from EUROWATER can produce the right water quality for any application - from groundwater to ultrapure water.
